Awards Committee

The Awards Committee shall consider and select, from all nominees, the
recipient of the annual YDNC awards, consisting of the following.
A. Five Outstanding Young Democrats
B. Tyre Taylor Award – the most outstanding Young Democrat of North Carolina (current officers are ineligible)
C. Outstanding Club
D. Best Project
E. Best Resolution
F. O. Max Gardner Award – Given to the person who is not a Young Democrat who has been most supportive to the organization; To be selected by the YDNC Executive Committee. The Committee shall consist of a chair, the YDNC President, the NCFCD President, the Minority Affairs Committee Chair, the National Committee Woman, and the most recent Tyre Taylor recipient.
