Information

This year’s convention is shaping up to be a magnificent celebration of the Democratic spirit. Candidates from across the state will battle for the hearts and minds of young voters; constituency caucuses will meet to collaborate on important issues; speakers will inspire students and young professionals to action; and national-caliber trainings will enrich attendees’ understanding of the political process. Democrats of all ages will have a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of Democratic Women, meet Charlotte’s Democratic leadership, and celebrate in the spirit of friendship and fraternity. We will devote a day of activism to fighting the anti-LGBT Constitutional Amendment on the May ballot, and elect the officers who will lead our organization during President Obama’s historic reelection.
